There’s a lot of drool and nose prints that are left behind by your dog on the window; this is especially the case if your canine friend likes to spend time looking out of the window. However, there are a few strategies that you can use to clean up the messy prints. So stay tuned as we dissect these strategies.

Make A Point Of Cleaning Up Your Windows At least Once A Week

I know that cleaning up your window is not a fun activity, Matter of fact, I also tend to procrastinate this chore. Just add this to your weekly cleaning routine. Especially the window on which your dog spends the most time.

Allow the Cleaning Solution To Stay On The Window For A Minute

You don’t spray the windows with the cleaning solution and then wipe it off immediately. If you can't get to it right away, You need to leave your cleaning solution on the window for some few minutes, this will allow it to get rid of the grease. After this, you can now use the wiper; this will ease the whole task.

Use A Squeegee

Abandon the paper towels and try using the squeegee. It will reduce the amount of time you spend cleaning up your windows. Moreover, you don’t have to use a ton of paper towels. You only need to buy an inexpensive squeegee blade replacement.

You spray the windows with your cleaning solution and then leave it there for a few minutes. You then come back and start using your squeegee. All you have to do is to ensure that you’re applying enough pressure on the squeegee.

Create Your Vinegar Solution

There’s no need to go looking for a unique cleaning solution, go ahead and make your own. The vinegar cleaning solution works very well.

Just mix up proper amounts of white distilled vinegar and warm water. Then pour it into a spray bottle, you’re set for the cleaning activity.

The good thing is that this will not leave behind streaks of dirt. It will be strong enough to penetrate the nose print and drool that has built up. In case the soil is too much, remember to leave the cleaning solution for a few minutes.

Don’t Clean The Windows While There’s Direct Sunlight

For the obvious reasons, you don’t want to clean up the windows under the direct sunlight. The windows will end up drying fast; this will most likely leave streaks behind.

The Magic Eraser Works Perfectly On The Tough Spots

In case the regular solution does not do the job, try using a magic eraser. It's great for removing excess buildup on the windows. You will need to wet it and start cleaning. It's made of melamine foam, which is excellent for eliminating the excess accumulation.

It works well while cleaning up windows, although it can work on other surfaces. It’s a gentle abrasive, but make sure you’re not too aggressive.
